So far, I like what I see and feel. This bag seems well-made, and has a lot of different storage pockets for the traveler. I wanted something lightweight for a brief trip, and this seems like it will do the trick. Of course the real trick will be seeing how it survives the meat-grinder that is airline baggage processes! I like the gray color, as it stands out a bit more than the standard black luggage color. Time will tell, but so far this seems like a good bargain!

I bought for my husband for a long international flight with a quick turnaround. Dress suit remained pressed and it really fits a lot of what you need in a carry on. His friends on the trip all wanted to know where he got it. Everyone was impressed. Great buy.

This Amazon Basics Carry-On Garment Bag is much larger and narrower than I thought. Granted, Ive never owned a garment bag before. So the theory behind a garment bag, I found out, is intended to keep your clothes nice and straight. Silly me I thought I could stiff a whole bunch of clothes in being that it opens all the way out. Nevertheless, its not too expensive a luggage piece so perhaps Ill keep my clothes hanger straight for once. Now, I will have to find hangers that are not too heavy for this garment bag. Im not tall or strong either so it discourages me a bit to see how big this garment bag actually is.

I dont travel very often with a suit or other clothes that require a garment bag. I do travel fairly often and as such have invested in some high quality, somewhat expensive luggage. However, in the cast of a garment bag that I use infrequently, this is just perfect. Its extremely functional and doesnt overcomplicate things. With luggage I so often see companies that add all kinds of unnecessary features in an attempt to differentiate themselves and to make it seem to be fancy and justify a higher price. Not so with this garment bag. Its simple, works great, and seems plenty durable for recreational use. If youre traveling weekly with a garment bag, perhaps you might want to want to buy something a bit more high-end, but for the rest of us, this bag will serve very well.

This garment bag, as I write this review, is checked in at the airport and on the way into the belly of a plane for the first trip. This replaces a previous bag which I have had for several years, and has had a couple of trans ocean flights and is getting travel worn. Packing comments are quite favorable! I find the design, size and utility to be slightly better than expected. It had several very nice features. The description states three full suits and shirts - I do not find that accurate, as I packed two full suits and three dress shirts, and any more and closing the cover zipper would have been challenging. There are three loops for three suits, so perhaps my suits are just bulky? The good: a find the material to be pleasingly thick and effectively padded to protect nice clothing. It should assist in wrinkle prevention. Very well thought features such as a padded middle fold over, staggered loops for three suits (hangars not all bunched in one spot), and a self contained fold over (many garment bags zip then fold - this one folds then zips together), and a well designed secure and discreet personal identification card area. The slide over handle strap is wide and should fit over most luggage extendable handles. The bad: this has four medium sized pockets as a result of the middle zipper feature. Enough to fit a pair of dress shoes, 4 ties, and 3 socks/undershirt/underwear. However, I find the comparison brand has more storage. The hangar loops are made of webbing, and I question the durability of them. The ugly: this can double as a carry on brief case, with a brief case / office compartment. This is super for a day or overnight trip, wasted pocket storage for a longer trip. I will swing by and update this review once I can fairly gauge durability. So far though, this is a definite recommend.

I used this for a seven day cruise that I took, I wanted to look good for the formal night and wanted some thing that would keep my jacket and slacks looking good. This bag did a great job of that! The first thing I noticed was that it is very well-made, very durable and it will last me for many cruises. I was able to get my suit in there, plus a couple of extra shirts, my socks, and a few other items. It was very easy to pick the bag up, put the strap over my shoulder and just start walking. I still had to hands-free for my carry-on and my roller bag. My suit looked good when I got on board the ship. And when I got home and took it out of the bag after wearing it, it still looked good. Very glad I made the purchase, it was exactly what I needed.

Great bag at a great price, happy with it so far...dont try to overfill it or your clothes will show that.

I usually drive everywhere but had a last minute trip that required me to fly and I was worried about my suit. This thing held up nice. Really surprised it is less than $50. Wifey is using it next month for a trip to a conference on the West coast. We will see how it holds up. As of right now we are really happy with this purchase.

This is a very simple yet functional garment bag. It serves the purpose if youre on a quick trip and dont want to haul around one of those awful, heavy garment bags with all the pockets you dont really need. This one has a very simple instruction manual. It comes with a shoulder strap you can choose to use or not. It has just enough spaces for a small amount of clothing and whatever you need for a short, business trip or a quick exit for a weekend. It has a pocket for socks or toiletries and a hook to hang it up when you get there. You can carry it with the two handles provided or hook up the shoulder strap. Very good at saving space and is legal for carry-on. The sides have pockets to put various small items. Would come in handy for short trips if you dont need to pack very much.
