This Amazon Basic hard carrying case for a 5 inch gps hold the 5 inch gps plus cord and more with no problem.

High quality and fits my 5 Garmin GPS, nicely. There is no room for the windshield mount inside .. but, I can squeeze in the charging cord for the cigarette lighter.

If you dont have a case, get one! This is the one to get - for both quality and price.

The Garmin GPS unit along with the car charger and computer link cord fit into the carrying case just fine. The hard shell helps protect the GPS unit.

Excellent product. Dont have to worry about protecting your GPS with this product. It is very well made.
