Amazon Basics Hard Travel Carrying Case for 5 Inch GPS, Black

I really thought I was going to love this. For sure I love that its hard and zippered, but it doesnt seem to open wide (even with the elastic) so Im constantly fumbling with it. It was a snug fit for the GPS but it cost more to return than actual price paid so decided to keep and find a different use for it.

I ordered this to replace a much more expensive GPS case I managed to lose on a trip. It was to be a temporary fix until I found the exact case I wanted. Actually, this will be my case! It it just right to hold my Garmin Nuvi 2555, the usb for downloading updaters and the Automobile cord. Everything fits compactly and the case is sturdy enough that I dont have any worries about damaging the Gps when its in my purse or on the car floor while not connected. I would highly recommend this product.

I use this case to carry a number of smaller items which were often misplaced before obtaining this case.

I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 56 to take on my next vacation flight to Florida so I thought that a case that was the exact size as the screen would be good. Regretfully the Garmin nuvi I will not be taking it with me on any trip therefore the case is useless to me. The problem with the case is that it does not provide space for the auto power cord therefore the value is iffy.

The case is good protection for my GPS while in the car glove box. Everything fits in the glove box so there is no indication that I have a GPS in the car.

This is a really nice case. It will protect the display and to some extent it will protect the unit if it is dropped. The case makes it easy to store at home or in the car. Highly recommend it for someone who likes to keep their stuff looking nice.
