These are very attractive wall plates that look very classy upon installation. The fronts of the wall plates have no flaws, however, the back sides, on the outer edges that are supposed to be flush against the wall are a little rough in spots, not semi-finished but perfections may feel compelled to sand down or otherwise smooth out these edges. Also, the installation screws complement, but do not match, the wall plates. The installation screws are the standard, glossy finish, stainless steel. I have no problems with these features but they may be problematic for others. At the suggested list price for these wall plates, they are an excellent value.

Color appears to be more silver than brass.. I may keep because I have a mix of chrome and brass in the bathroom already, but the color looks nothing like the photo.

I’m giving this two stars because the light switch plate itself is very nice, but needs better screws! The little slit in the head is smaller than normal and very hard to screw. I also feel like the threads are thicker than the screw that was in my white light switch plate cover before making it harder to screw in. Something that should’ve taken a minute to install took forever and I couldn’t even get two of the screws to even go in even though it was lined up perfectly. I’m not going through the effort of sending back and just going to try to paint other screws a bronze color to match. I am planning on replacing other light switch covers in my house, but will not order from AmazonBasics again.
