Amazon Basics Tri-Fold Garment Bag

This bag would get a 5 star from me if it had some traveling wheels. Maybe some notes for future production. Would buy again for travel but not by air.

I didnt expect much from a budget bag like this. I used it three times so far and it is quite up to the job. Suits, shirts, shoes, underwear, medicine, other toiletries, all fit in. The only think that doesnt fit is my fedora which goes in a separate case. Cuts down the clutter of traveling.

I was really disappointed in this bag after the good reviews. Number one problem, there is no hanger for the bag other than the handle at the top. It needs a hook that will hang on a door or closet bar. Also the inside was cheaply made and did not fully zip up. The padded support band in the middle did not detach so the clothes needed to be threaded under it. It wasnt bad once closed up and if you could find short enough hangers so a suit jacket would actually fit the length (a standard hanger was too long).

Before I found this, my options were cheap flimsy bag-like covers or expensive, thick luggage. This is a great alternative. Protective without extra weight for a reasonable price.

This garment bag was used to carry 10 items (shirts and pants) in an easy to transport bag. When all the clothes are tightened into the bag, expect everything to come out wrinkled! But my main disappointment is that the hangars do not have a simple hook inside at the top (instead theres a removable chain). I had to use a zip tie to secure all the hangars from getting loose. Im satisfied with this solution. For airline travel, this bag has multiple clips to keep it tight and secured, including a velcro handle for the tri-fold bag. It is very durable and matches my other luggage color as if it were a matched set.
