Greater than one week- Looks sharp, clean, feels solid and has easy to read labels/text. - I plugged it in, moved my 4 existing cameras and plugged in the new IP8M-2493EW. All 4 of my other cameras booted right up. - With my old switch, I noticed a little lag loading individual cameras and that seems to have slightly improved. - I do wish it had optional ears to rack mount but I understand the size is smaller than 1U so it probably would never be an option on a switch smaller than 16 ports. - No issues so far with my 4 existing cameras or interaction with Blue Iris.

> 3 dayI couldnt till you how many Amcrest cameras and related equipment I have purchased. The stuff works as advertised BUT their customer support, specifically technical support is USELESS - THEY JUST PUT YOU ON HOLD DN FORGET YOU and the ONLINE CHAT just keeps CLOSING THE SESSION. Needless to say Im thinking another brand, JUST for SUPPORT!

> 3 dayI bought to use with 2 POE cameras and this worked out of the box, just plugged the cables and the cameras was turned on. I will buy more cameras and see how it goes. I like the indicator led that shows what port is using POE and what port is using just LAN. If you are looking for a not so expensive POE switch, this is a great choice.

> 3 dayThis is a super solid switch for the price. Management is minimal, and it has great specs for the price; especially in rugged applications with severe temperatures or humidity. If you need something to manage a dedicated subnet for your security system, look elsewhere since this is a layer 2 switch. If that is not a concern, it is a great choice. I just started using it, but the power is great over long runs of 75 feet and I dont see any packet loss or hiccups in communication. For this price at a full POE switch, this is a great choice.

> 3 dayThis is a great unmanaged switch with eight POE ports, and the first port is a POE+, aka 802.3at port. POE+ is a fairly recent addition to the switching landscape, and can provide a LOT of power. A normal 802.3af port can provide up to 15 watts, whereas 802.3at can provide twice that. Some manufacturers make a switch that both provides POE and is powered BY POE. These take the 30 watts from the 802.3at port, use about 5 watts to power the switch, and then can power 1-2 other POE devices, like phones or an access point. So this switch really provides a lot of future-proofing. I use TP Link switches all over, both smaller non-POE switches, switches with some ports being POE, and now this switch with one beefy POE+ port and regular POE on the rest. It has a hard metal case, screws for wall mounting, and I highly recommend this switch!

> 3 dayThis is my first security camera setup and the camera I bought was POE (power over Ethernet) so I needed this switch to power the camera. Setup was super easy! First you plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and into the back of the switch. Then you plug one ethernet cable from your home internet router into port 1 of the switch and then plug your camera into another port. Thats it. NOTE: You will need to have at least 2 ethernet cables on hand or purchase them as the unit does not come with them.

> 3 dayWorked great out of the box. Power supply is good size for the power required. Many of these devices use small power supplies that fail over time. No power fluctuations, just works.
