Great cpu, runs super mario at a smooth 12 FPS, cooler is a bit loud though.

Updated from an AMD FX 6300 to this CPU when I built my new system. And boy was it a night and day difference. Massive response improvement in Windows, games and all programs. Well worth the purchase.

This is a great budget Ryzen 5 chip and I easily overclocked to 4ghz. I do use an aftermarket dual fan heatsink though. At 4ghz its showing as 1.4 vcore which is fine for this chip. CPU on full load using all cores never gets above 70c which is under the AMD max value. Could cool it more with a lower vcore, but at 1.35 it was wonky. No complaints and many have said 1.4 is the absolute max and should be fine with proper cooling which to me makes sense. Runs 24/7 smoothly with zero problems. Running multiple benchmarks show it was a tiny bit better than the 2600x. Not bad!
