> 3 dayI grew up with Intel, and I thought only communist would buy anything other than Intel. About 7 months ago, I took a chance and built a really good dedicated graphics computer, using the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (lots of cores and threads needed) on an ASUS Crosshair Hero MOBO and I am blown away with that for my videos, photos and mucho rendering, etc. So, when my 10 year old HP 3130 everyday computer started to groan (like the power supply is about to give up the ghost), I decided to build another workhorse, but with the AMD Ryzen 5 2600. After finishing the build, I am pleased to report that I am just as happy with the Ryzen 5 as I am with the Ryzen 7, for what they are to do. No, I am not a communist, but I am very happy with AMD and these CPUs. The power to cost ratio on AMD vs Intel is significant, so if you are an Intel Die-Hard, maybe you should take a second look and a first chance on the AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 lineup.

Greater than one weekOften goes for sub 200 prices, which makes it good value as the stock of the 3600 is constantly running out and seeing expensive pricing due to demand. Stock cooler is fine, though I do recommend an upgrade sooner rather than later if u care about having lower temps or lower noise.

> 3 dayGreat value for the money. Outpaces new i3s, i5s and older i7s in gaming performance, and rarely bottlenecks my GPU (I have an RTX 2060 Super). Stock cooler is decent too, but it gets a bit loud under heavy load, however thats not a major issue since I game with headphones on anyway. I dont plan on overclocking at the moment, but if I do, Ill change to a higher quality air cooler or 120mm AIO. Overall, a great purchase.

> 3 dayGreat price, dont bother with the 2600x save your money and get the same performance by overclocking yourself.
