Even with the stock stealth cooler, I got this stable at 4Ghz and 1.3 V using amd ryzen master (RAM set to 3200mhz via BIOS), tho does run hot at 85C. Make sure to install all the AMD ryzen chipset drivers in windows 10 to make this run stably and have good performance. Performance is good in BF5 even without overclock, but the O/C helps.

Upgraded from a 5 year old i5 4670k. Originally, I ordered an i7 8700k to replace the 5 year old PC. However, after looking at prices for the Intel CPU, motherboard, and memory, I decided to go with Ryzen.

Friends of mine urged me to go with Intel due to it being better for gaming, but Im glad I went with AMD for my build. Paired with an RTX 2060, I have had no problem running games at 1440p 60fps+ at ultra settings.

CPU does very well encoding and decoding video, but the review here is really for the cooler that came with it - The wraith stealth cooler never let my CPU get above 50C even during the most heavy tasks i put it through. Great value.
