The feeling ripped off part was complete user error mind you. I somehow disabled or didnt turn on Multithreading for this after installing and setting up the new PC. Task manager was showing six cores, as it should, and I didnt question it. However after the recent month of playing newer games and them all being absolute CPU hogs, I started looking into why this CPU was performing worse than the FX 8350 I upgraded from. Long story short I downloaded AMD Ryzen Master (software used to monitor and/or overclock your AMD Ryzen Chips), noticed the multithreading option was turned on without realizing at the time it was off before, check Task Manager again and boom, suddenly my PC is running on 12 cores (6 cores, 6 threads)

Cest aujourdhui de loin le meilleur rapport prix/performance du marché, quand on voit lIntel 8600k affiché à près du double... Le refroidisseur décent fourni est la cerise sur le gâteau, même si un refroidisseur plus costaud sera requis pour pousser le processeur à sa limite. Impossible de ne pas recommander ce produit.

This was an upgrade from FX6300 CPU. I primarily play WoW and use Lightroom with my photography. I have often stayed a bit behind with performance and have finally caught up! For the first time ever, I have consistently solid framerates in games and a much less laggy photo processing experience. The cooler is fantastic. The quietest cpu fan Ive ever had, and the cpu itself stays surprisingly cool (between 40 and 50c). My ONLY point of frustration came from some instability (random, long system freezes) I experienced that took me a while to troubleshoot, first thinking it was probably some sort of memory incompatibility. It ended up being an incompatibility with the Windows 10 Ryzen power plan that was installed. Switched to the regular Performance plan and its been rock solid ever since. I hope having that tidbit here helps save someone else the hassle.

This processor is lightning fast! Highly recommend!

Amazing cpu for the price! Pairs nicely with my rtx 2070 to handle all games at 1440p 60fps ultra settings

There is nothing bad that can be said about these AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPUs. It works a treat straight out of the box and has plenty of power for what my son uses it for. I have used the stock Wraith Stealth Cooler as it works well in this build.

Great value processor and has a good cooler in the box. Mine had a bent pin out of the box but using super ninja skills and a sewing needle unrepaired the pin and set the CPU.
