Ho acquistato questo processore per assemblare un pc medio senza scheda video avendo questa Cpu la grafica integrata. Regge piuttosto bene software e giochi anche piuttosto recenti.

I replaced a Ryzen 7 2700X with this CPU on my gaming desktop. I was arguing if I should buy a 5800X but given that I use a Radeon Vega 56 and new GPUs are currently not available for any reasonable price I decided to go with the Ryzen 5 5600G. To no regret I have to say as it is a decent upgrade that make games run significantly more smooth and overall the noise and heat dissipation of the mini ITX based system is far less. I did not use the heatsink that came with the processor as it did not fit on my mini ITX board from Asus. Just leveraged the cooler from the 2700X. Highly recommend this CPU.

La APU in questione é decisamente una ottima alternativa a quelle di Intel. Ho anche un Celeron J6005, sempre con grafica integrata ma, il paragone é, davvero, impari. Non ti accorgi che é una grafica integrata se non quando cerchi di giocarci, ovviamente. Mi serviva una soluzione che consumasse poca energia e che si potesse raffreddare a liquido per essere silenziosa e, questo 5600g, fa decisamente al caso mio.

The included Wraith Stealth Cooler is woefully inadequate for cooling this chip. With the stock cooler, under a CPU load of 100% the chip reached 98 Celsius almost instantly.

No issues with shipping, no issues with installation. Took a few extra seconds to be recognized by my board and bios setup but works fine. Great upgrade coming from a Ryzen 3 3200G.

I decided to build a custom AMD PC, what a fiasco. Been building Intel PCs since the 80s with no issues. Decided to build an AMD PC for the first time, After months of trying different motherboards, BIOS upgrades, testing components I am finally giving up on AMD. I thought that it was so cool that all Ryzen used the same CPU socket (AM4) and all you needed to do was get the right motherboard chipset and done... tried B450 and B550M boards from different manufacturers, never got the POS to boot, all other components testing fine. Not worth saving a dime with AMD, going back to Intel.
