AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Do you like gaming? Go for it but of course with a mid-level Graphics card or a high-end one if one can afford it. As it is the prices are going through the roof. This processor is meant for a lot more other than gaming like video editing or rendering etc. One thing to note is that if one is using the stock cooler and temps are too high, disable pbo(precision boost overdrive) in the bios/uefi but if using a high-end cooler (AIO) then leave it on. As far as i am concerned this processor suits my needs perfectly...

Upgraded from a 2600 to the 5600x and using it on a MSI b450m Gaming Plus with the beta bios and it basically runs perfectly. You do have to install a display port driver for Nvidia graphics cards as it may not work after installing the cpu. Games run extremely smooth now with no noticable stuttering in more cpu intensive titles. Got this on sale and I feel it has been worth every penny. Everything loads quickly and it feels super snappy and responsive.

This CPU made drastic differences to my gaming performances. From 40 fps on medium settings with my old CPU to 120 at max settings. Unfortunately I had to shell out more money than I wanted to in order to get this, but the prices of everything were high when I bought it. Wait for a sale or for prices to go down before buying, unless you really have the extra money to spend.

arrived fast but when i put it in my computer it had dead memory channels couldnt use 2 and 4 had to use one stick of ram to get it to work

This CPU has better performance than the Intel 10900K in PC gaming, but also runs a lot cooler, uses a lot less energy, and costs hundreds of dollars less.

Awesome cpu for gaming and streaming if you are thinking about purchasing a ryzen cpu this 5600x is the best budget and performance cpu!!

Since these are bundled you know going in that they will work together. I would STRONGLY recommend watching videos on installing motherboards and processors (Id watch those 2 or 3 times). Some of the silk-screened markings are hard to read or are in an odd place due to how this was constructed but its pretty easy to put things together. Plenty of USB3 ports and even a USB-C as well, audio ports for Surround Sound, and a Gundam-like antenna for Bluetooth and Wifi (and yes, it is mounted on my case like its a Gundam).

Not the fastest cpu on the market, but BY FAR the best for its price range.
