if you get this please get an air or water cooler. This stock cooler in the box is giving me 70 degrees celsius at idle, and I live in Canada where the weather is like -25 degrees.

Works as expected

If you are a casual gamer then something like a second-hand i7 10700k might be more worth it, but in terms of performance this cpu gets WAY better fps on competitive games like csgo, valorant, fortnite compared to any intel cpu. Tests on csgo show that the ryzen 5 5600x gets better fps than the highest end intel i9 by a significant margin. If you find this on sale under $380 its definitely worth it.

Overall it’s a great little CPU, clocks well for Ryzen and gives me the core count I need at a fairly low TDP. You can tame it pretty easily with a decent air cooler, or if you don’t care about noise the stock cooler is probably fine for most reasonable workloads. My one gripe is that DOCP at 3600 mHz did not play nicely when implemented automatically. I had to increase the memory controller voltage above the DOCP setting slightly to get things stable (1.35 to 1.37). Though that may just be the chip I got or a quirk of my motherboard.

I wanted the 5800X but since it was out of stock I went ahead and bought the 5600x and I couldnt be happier with the performance. Running a generation 4 SSD and 3600 MHz Ram.

Muy buen procesador con una rtx 3060 ti, va de cine, eso si, el disipador puesto un cool máster hyper 212, tiene muy buena temperatura, el que viene de serie ni idea, lo tengo guardado, no le veo gran cosa a simple vista. 100% recomendable con la rtx 3060 ti por lo menos solo para jugar con monitor en 1440p
