> 24 hourGets a little warm but that was to be expected. Runs everything I need like a champ and was a good value for me.

> 24 hourI went from a eight core 5800X AM4 cpu to this and really I cant say Ive noticed any difference. Its a low end budget cpu but it works well and is perfect for anyone wanting to jump to the AM5 platform for future upgradability.

> 24 hourThis CPU is amazing. With my old system having an i7 6700, this was a MUCH needed boost to performance. The CPU can get hot with air cooling, so when getting it, I strongly suggest water cooling aswell. Though the CPU can get up to 95°, having water cooling will keep it under 60° at full load.

> 24 hourFYI. If you actually want to receive the Jedi Survivor game with your purchase, you have to make sure you follow a convoluted process of clicks under the promotions area. Its not as simple as just ordering the processor. If you just ordered the processor and thought youd receive a copy of Jedi Survivor once the processor shipped, youd be wrong. Feels dishonest.

> 24 hourGood cpu for the cost. Built my first pc with this. Was able to hit some crazy clock speed, using only the curve optimizer and PBO.

> 24 hourThis chip has done amazing; I paired it with a 4090 and have had absolutely no stability or bottlenecking issues from the cpu. I havent found a game I cant run at full capacity. Paired with a liquid cooler I have also not run into a single heating issue. The chip hasnt gone above 40 degrees celcius. Naturally be careful because it is a gen 5 chip so if you dont have a motherboard that supports that you wont be able to use the chip. All things aside it is amazing for the price

> 24 hourLet me start off by saying I put together my am5 build for my sons computer. I couldnt decide between 13th gen Intel or this at the 300 price point. Honestly the Intel is a better performing processor and more versatile BUT eats much more power. This is the right entry point for AM5.

> 24 hourThis cpu is powerful for its price. It runs the games I need it too and never gets above 40% usage with my everyday tasks and games. My only complaint is when I do stress this cpu in testing stability, it throttles after reaching max temp. I use an AIO and I’m not sure if I bought a 360 instead of a 240 it would keep it cool. AMD says this is normal but I wonder about the longevity of it.

> 24 hourI was initially worried about the 95C temperature targeting making my system too noisy, but thats because I was used to the old way to tune fans. It used to be you had to stress-test your CPU and then clumsily tweak your fan curve to keep it cool while often getting really loud. The new behavior essentially allows you to set the exact maximum fan speed you want since you know the CPU wont go above that 95C maximum temperature.

> 24 hourReplaced a box with a Ryzen 5 3600, huge gains. Runs much hotter. I ended up going with an AIO liquid cooler, and with a bit of undervolting you can keep it at under 85 under full load. Its pretty zippy. Kind of wished I had gone with the Ryzen 7, but ive got no real complaints.
