AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Processor with Wraith Spire LED Cooler - YD2700BBAFBOX

Bought this to replace a Ryzen 3, it was defective out of the box, local computer shop and phone call with Microsoft confirmed this. Working with Amazon to come to a resolution still. I think it was an isolated incident as the replacement Ryzen 5 I just purchased is working great. AMD offers zero support for their products except an email support that never gets returned.

Do not buy amd now because it has become overpriced. Intel is better choice for budget now.

received faulty cooler Fan .Not fitting on motherboard . The screws of fan are fauty.I replaced items 2 times.I received 2 times faulty item from seller side.very poor and unsatisfied.

Runs games well way better then my previous fx series cpu and is really cool temps in the mid 30s and high 40s

Caught this on sale for $225 and couldnt pass it up. I combined it with a x470 motherboard, 16g of memory and a 512g C: drive as well as a RX 580 that I already had and I couldnt be happier. It is much faster than the fx-8300 that it replaced. I got about 10fps more on games which tells my my old 8300 was bottlenecking my graphics card. It also flies through handbrake and compresses video quite noticeably faster than my old 8 core. And it manages to do this with a 65 watt power usage on the cpu. AMD knocked it out of the park with this cpu and its only going to get better next year when they transition to 7nm. Guess Ill be rebuilding my other computer when this happens.
