This should be a good cpu in general i got it on sale for 250$ and im happy with it, so if you see this on sale get it quick.

It seems to be pretty fast. I’m just bummed that it didn’t support my onboard video on my motherboard. I wasn’t excited about the extra expense.

Good processor, have not testet it in overclocking, but its run without any problem. Mb b350 tomahawk + corsair 16gb 3200 c16

School and for games

An all-round great CPU. Runs much faster than my first-gen 1600 and comes with a very-RGBy stock cooler. The value-per-performance is also very good as this is a pretty affordable CPU when you take into consideration what it provides.

Part of my first build and it has done everything I wanted. Ultra settings on everything. Even survived Anthems processing mess.

First and foremost this does not support Windows 7. Secondly, the only problem I ran into was configuring using a solid-state drive with Windows 10. You will need Rufus boot tool and USB jump drive if you are using an SSD Drive for the first time to install Windows 10. Additionally, also configure the BIOS to read the USB boot drive
