Non aggiornavo il PC da un pezzo, avevo ancora un i7 2600 e con questo processore ho fatto un balzo nelle performance di quasi 4 volte! 8 core e 16 thread sono davvero tanta roba, soprattutto se si utilizzano anche VM: infatti anche una mia VM con su Linux Centos ora è 3 volte più veloce (secondo i benchmark, ma anche visivamente!).

Genug Power

I went from an FX8350 to a Ryzen 7 3700X after a lot of research. Performance in games is superb, with my only problem being a GPU bottleneck. In benchmarks for AC Odyssey the highest CPU utilization I saw at 1080p was around 32% while the GPU was at 100%. If you plan on just playing games and you want a powerful, affordable processor, Id recommend either this or the R5 3600. However, if you also wanted to stream, edit videos, or do generally any sort of work with your computer, go with this one or a 3900X.

After much research, I landed on the 3700x for my first PC build. I used the included cooler and temps are all in expected range at idle and under load. If you can wait, maybe check out AMDs new offering before choosing this for you build. If you need to build now, this is recommended.

Um meinen neuen PC zusammenzuschrauben, fehlt noch der Prozessor. Mit 300 Euro das teuerste Stück am ganzen Rechner, und ich habe mich über die schnelle Lieferung gefreut. In diesen Zeiten längst nicht selbstverständlich. Beim Öffnen des Pakets fiel mir sofort auf, dass das Siegel aufgeschnitten war. Da war mir sofort klar, das sich der Eigenbau weiter verzögert. Aber es lag keine defekte, sondern gar keine CPU im Paket. Lediglich der Wraith Prism Kühler war noch vorhanden. Sehr ärgerlich. Es ist für mich als Kunden auch nicht angenehm, weil man ja leicht auf die Idee kommt, ich hätte die teure CPU entnommen. Insofern frage ich mich, warum ein Paket gefertigt wird, bei dem klar auf den ersten Blick der Schnitt am Siegel zu sehen ist??
