> 24 hourThis is a great processor. Im running it on a x370 motherboard after updating to the latest BIOs I was able to run this at 4.5ghz all core 1.375v. so far its running great and only 38c on idle with an AIO. Not bad

> 24 hourWhile not as fast as the 5800x, the 3800x is still very quick, and is less finicky with power configurations and temperatures. Overall, at stock PB2 (no-PBO), using the stock wraith-prism cooler, this CPU will chug along at 4.12Ghz all-core clock with all-cores loaded, 24/7, without even pushing the fans hard (thus the advantage of a part binned for 3.9Ghz). Compared to my 5950x, with its required fancy AIO 360mm cooler, and constant pump and fan profile switching that’s needed to keep temps in the sweet-spot to maximize PBO (for sustained 4.2+ Ghz all-cores) this 3800x is simply fire and forget at stock settings. For running overnight batched workloads and background server tasks, it’s a great CPU, when coupled with a good board, because you get a lot of performance with nearly zero tweaking (or fancy cooling).
