Ryzen cpu is great. Easy setup and fast. Stays cool with 240mm liquid aio.

The box did not contain the processor. Just the fan and an empty box for the CPU.

Dont order PC parts unless you can 100% get retail price.

Im sure years from now when this CPU is completely obsolete I will look back with nostalgia about how I thought this was a beast. But currently, it is just that. It is a beast. I havent even dabbled with overclocking, mainly because I dont see that as a need. Its blazing fast right out of the box. I am an avid gamer and am able to run the game, several apps, and stream all without seeing any stress on this CPU. I think the highest usage Ive gotten is 40 percent. I threw a liquid cooler on it and keep it at a chilly 40-50 degrees C. Maybe in a few years when it starts to seem slow, I can overclock it a bit. I dont see that being an issue anytime soon.

This item appears to have been delivered DOA. Id like to exchange it . Due to Covid, I am an essential worker and have just now gotten around to installing it and it doesnt work.

GREAT processor.

I was wanting the 3900X just to see what I can do as i do a lot of video editing and encoding so cores count. I had all the Ryzen CPUs 1700, 1800X, 2700X and now this3800X. Its fast for the tasks I throw at it. just make sure to get your voltages right in the bios as is runs hot if you dont . I use water cooling for mine and did try the stock cooler and it works great and looks cool. I have seen my 3800X hit 4.5 gigahertz if all cores running 100 percent load like hand brake will throttle back to 4.1 to 4.2 Ram is way more compatible as I run 32 gigs of trident Z and I just select the 3200 mhz with no other tweaking of the bios.

Runs great on my 570 elite with 3600 cl16 ram..have yet to receive my game downloads even after contacting customer service.

Seems to work great so far. Super fast. I have it paired with an MSI X570 board and a H150i Corsair cooler.

The cpu is great but you wont ever get your promotional digital download codes that are some times packaged with products like this. I was told all should be fixed by calling amazon customer service but i must have called 4 or 5 times and never got my download codes.
