When attempting to install the CPU to my new build PC, we found that pins on the bottom of the CPU were bent and therefore caused the PC to be unable to boot.

The performance initially on this cpu is amazing, but my first one failed very fast. I havent done any OCing and I have a big noctua cooler on them and they arent overheating. The first CPUs memory control module failed I believe as suddenly it wouldnt even attempt to post and wouldnt recognize any memory. The second one has degraded I believe as the benchmark performance has continued to drop. its not surprising because these things even at stock settings volt themselves extremely. Ill be replacing mine with an Intel which is what Ive used for about 15 years now. The performance and specs on the AMD is impressive but Im not going to risk being stuck with one thats going to fail prematurely.

My CPU never passed 38% load yet. Very happy with this CPU! Switched from Mac computers and Intel CPUs to building my own machine with AMD CPU. So glad i did so!

It’s hot, way hotter than 3700x. It’s not even as powerful as the Apple M1 in some cases like using Photoshop and Lightroom.

I purchased this CPU for my gaming workstation. Excellent product, very fast, very solid and stable.

Works out of the box. You may want to get 4 x 8GB RAM sticks instead of 2 x 16GB RAM as it is reported to be 10% faster (4x8GB)

I got this Processor on Sale for $350 and for that price I have gotten a lot of performance out of this amazing piece of tech. I would say that even for the full $400 this thing is a steal. I play a lot of games at 1440p and use applications like Blender and Unreal Engine and for all of these things, there has been no issues whatsoever. My Frame Rate is High, and where games would stutter and my GPU would be bottlenecked with my old processor (an Intel i7-3930k), everything is now completely smooth. I am going to try and overclock this thing pretty soon here and see how it handles. But I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this processor.
