da quando ho questo processore, i vari processi in background mi prendono 1-2% verso il 15-20% del vecchio processore intel.. poi con 16 thread.. ci posso far partire praticamente un centro di calcolo con VMWARE.. insomma.. ottimo prezzo grandissime prestazioni.

AMD has knocked it out of the park with these new 3000 series chips! So glad I upgraded from my old ryzen 1600 to this BEAST OF A CHIP 3800x. Get some nice cooling and set to auto. Amazing performance right out of the box.

First one was defective and would reboot after 3-4 mins. Tried everything and it just would keep rebooting. Got a replacement next day and it was perfect. Games perfectly and runs cooler than the 3900X. Another great processor from AMD. Just keep in mind you can get an occasional defective any product.

If you have done you research, you know that the AMD Ryzen series are well reviewed and have gotten a lot of feedback from various types of users. I purchased the Ryzen 7 3800X for use in a computer I build for graphic design and video creation that I will also game with. I use the Adobe Creative Cloud and it is a highly recommended CPU for what I was looking to do. The 8/16 core/thread count will easily handle video, animation, Photoshop and 3D CAD software I use. Less serious workflows could use the Ryzen 5 3600X , a great value for the price. If you are interested in my build, I listed it below. It was based on weeks of research and calls to friends who game and fellow designers.

I was a blue Man. But AMD has shifted the whole battle with the Ryzen processors. Great performance for the dollar.

Great CPU. Only problem Ive had with it came from the motherboard Im using (as expected). If you have a ROG Strix b450-f, just make sure to get that fan going. The MoBo CPU 4pin connector will not recognize your fan until after a BIOS update. The work around for me was to plug into the CHA Fan -1 until I could boot Windows and download the newest BIOS from ASUS. I threw that on a flash drive and then used the Flash Utility found in the BIOS to upgrade from there. After that, the CPU fan header worked just fine. Just a little caveat emptor.
