Greater than one weekThis thing is powerful. Probably more than Ill ever need. No issues at all.. Idles around 30-40, and its not going over 70 gaming Cyberpunk thus far. AMD has verified the 5000s are fine getting much hotter than what is historically considered normal too. You can dig for that info if you are concerned about load temps.

Greater than one weekThese new Ryzen CPUs are crazy fast destroying most everything Intel has. Using AMD GPU & Win 11 few games push my 5800X and my old I7 4Ghz 6th gen looks like a dinosaur. 2 drawbacks. Hate the pins that can easily bend. My advice is by the best board you can afford and never remove it. Dont try to change cpu cooler either as the cpu can easily be pulled from the board. Not like Intels much more secure system. Do not use stock cooler or cheap out. By a premium cooler that you never plan to remove. Trust me on this one!

> 3 dayIm on my second 5800x as the first caused multiple blue screen WHEA errors almost immediately. I messed around with different versions BIOS and BIOS option however nothing I did affected the error. In the end I returned the first one and ordered a replacement. This one is working perfectly straight away and my Pc is now running very very well. This is paired with a 3080fe which it matches well. My motherboard is an x57p Auros Elite. So 1 star for the first CPU and 5 for the second really.
