AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

With this CPU I can run a scanner on one printer, send a print job to another printer, move files, and work on a spreadsheet at the same time without skipping a beat. I have no idea how fast it plays games, but for productivity it is an asset. By the way, it has an led light cable on the stock fan that, when connected to the led port on my mobo makes the fan put on quite a light show. Great eye candy, lousy for staying focused on the spreadsheet :-)

This CPU is overkill.. I wanted overkill.. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the 2700.

Great Processor. More here for a review of the lack of amazon service I received here. waited 2 weeks after received order to reach out (give them time to catch up) as purchase of this amd processor comes with a product key for Assassins Creed Valhalla. I reached out to their chat support. spend about 45 min there explaining and listening to them attempt to type out empathy. explaining how they would do their best to get the $70 key Im withheld still at this point. Cut to a few weeks later after the man I spoke with said 2 business days and we will have this matter resolved for you messaged this time a lady another set of weeks later with ZERO e-mail correspondence from amazon although on both occasions they BOTH stated they would be sending a summary of my chats to e-mail. that never happened either.

Not much to say really, just a ryzen cpu that is awesome to have and to use it for everything, the focus was not for games but it works awesomely well for it

This CPU is very good for multi-core tasks and does very well with gaming.

This processor is overkill for 99.9% of scenarios... LOL. Massively powerful. Now I see why most gamers are going with the Ryzen 5. If you have the budget, go for it, just make sure you actually have use for it. In my case its 4K video editing. You should probably use some kind of AIO or large, high capacity air cooler. Even though in its idle state, this processor pulls very little power, it does wake up and throttle up to 100% very fast and with that comes its max TDP. It gets toasty real quick... LOL

Wow, what a difference. This processor works at 4.2 GHz right out of the box. I have paired this with a X570 Aorus Ultra Mobo and 32 GB GSkill 3600 DRAM. Works great. Games are smooth, apps run great.

I upgraded from an Fx-8350, I knew it would be faster but I didnt understand what speed was until I did the upgrade.
