AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Upgraded from intel i59something on a cheap small asus board to a ryzen 3900x ... fantastic. Load times dont exist anymore and cpu temp is around 55-60deg.c running Fortnite and web browsing simultaneously. Im borderline computer illiterate, so I dont know if thats good or bad, but the PC is running smooth.

October 2 Update. The motherboard issue confirmed. I took the MB to a local computer parts store and tested it with 100% working processor. The motherboard is broken it has a short circuit somewhere. Sent the MB to RMA.

Intel cest terminé depuis mon Rizen 2700x maintenant passé au Rizen 3900 ne chauffe pas du tout maxi 65 degrés en plein régime pour faire de la 3D sur blender version 2.92 / 32 go de ram 3200 NVIDIA GeForce 2060 rtx photoshop, DaVinci résolve krita de la bombe

I wanted to start out by saying I have been anticipating this cpu for a while and patiently waiting and AMD has made me a believer.

Vengo de un Ryzen 1700...el cambio a la hora de renderizar se nota bastante. Eso sí, con la app Ryzen Master hay que bajarle un poco el voltaje (yo lo tengo a 1.3) ya que consume bastante. Con mi fuente de alimentación de 650 se pone al 100% del consumo mientras renderiza. Sin embargo bajándole muy poco el voltaje e incluso subiendo las frecuencias de los núcleos a 3.95 mientras renderiza se pone al 80%. Es ir jugando, pero estoy bastante contento. Requiere un ventilador BUENO o bien líquida.

Perfect timing, excellent service! Loving the CPU

I was running a R7 2700 overclocked to 4ghz in a workstation for scientific data analysis (next generation sequencing). I thought it was a pretty good setup. I had been thinking about the new Ryzen 3000 cpus but figured the upgrade probably wasnt worth it. Couldnt stop wondering if itd speed up my work so I finally just did it. And am I glad I did!
