AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

I got this and put it on a new board , WOW so fast , lovely to play games now or compile sound tracks , whatever you do you will do it better !!

It may not have the fastest core clock speed of all processors out there, but it shreds when it comes to REAL workloads. Buy this piece of history today and you wont regret it.

Despite the 3950X being superior and also being a good value for what you get, this ultimately was the better option for me since it was cheaper. And I was lucky enough to find it for $499 when it was in stock.

After opening the package, it appeared the AMD box had been tampered with, and stickers were put on the side reading DAMAGE OUT SEAL IS BROKEN

I upgraded from an i5-4690k about a year ago to this absolute beast of a CPU and I could not be happier. Its unfortunate that since then, prices have skyrocketed on PC components, but for the ~400 I paid for this I will be happy for a long time. While benchmark sites like to focus on single-threaded performance, where comparably aged Intel units will get a slight edge, in real world use the 12 cores on offer here are a huge benefit. I simply havent been able to tax this CPU at all. Want to run a taxing game on one monitor, while streaming videos or keeping 12 tabs of Chrome open on the other? The 3900x doesnt even care. Go for it. Not even a droplet of sweat.

More bang for my buck and very happy with the decision. I’m not a gamer but do a lot of photogrammetry processing and as an upgrade from an i7 to difference is amazing.

Robust, powerful and simple installation/setup.

Very Happy. However, arrived with some bent pins. Had to delicately bend them back with a razor blade. Didnt look like it had been opened before so I have to assume it left the factory that way.
