AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

I upgraded my PC with almost all new things and it was my first time installing them. It was easy to install the processor into the motherboard and just as easy to install the fan it came with. It already had the thermal paste on it and the fan clamped down easily onto the motherboard. The performance is amazing. I stream and play Warzone on one PC and it handles all of it very easily even with all graphics on the highest. Its amazing and wish I had upgraded sooner lol

Aunque tecnicamente es un procesador de gama desktop, lo he utilizado para montar un servidor en una empresa pequeña con 5 usuarios y substituir a 3 servidors HP Proliant DL320eG8 con 1 x Xeon X3430 (4 cores / 4 threads) y VMware ESXi. El Ryzen 9 3900X con sus 12 cores y 24 threats doblado el número de threads, y cada core es unas 5 veces más rápido. Ahora las máquinas virtuales (una mezcla de Linux, Windows Server 2012 y Windows Server 2019) se levantan en 5 segundos. He instalado el Ryzen 9 3900X en una sencilla placa GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Elite porque incluia tarjeta de red Intel (queria evitar que el ESXi no reconociera a las tarjetas Realtek de otras placas). Gran procesador con un buen rendimiento para trabajar y estudiar, si tú presupuesto es limitado, una gran relación calidad precio, yo ya que estará en una habitación interior le he puesto una liquida.

Came without the processor. someone got away with a robbery. Had so many offers from other websites on the day that I bought this processor, now cannot find one for any price. Amazon , returning money wont solve all the problems. This is unacceptable.

A great price for performance! Intel should be losing sleep over the Ryzen family of CPUs and associated X570 motherboards.

There’s no reason to get intel anymore unless you plan on only 1080p 240hz gaming.

!2 cores, 12 Virtual cores, what else can be said ;-) When I boot into windows now, its already there ! Probably an overkill for me for what I do, but I dont care. I really Love this chip.

Died after 6 hours of use. Bought a second chip (from a different retailer) that died after a few days of use. Back to using my 2700x after $1200 in silicon failed. Ive been an AMD fan for a long time and even stuck with them through their rough bulldozer days. But this rate of failure has shook my confidence in their product.
