Fastest single core performance CPU on the market. Add 16 more cores and you have a winner. No complaints. Can be used for gaming and software development and 3D rendering and video editing ... it really is a one stop shop CPU, does it ALL.

upgraded from an AMD R9 3900x to this and now i have more CPU than i can use at all. but better to have and not need than need and not have.

I probably should have saved a couple hundred and went with the 12 core variant but hey, whatever. For 99.9% of users this chip is overkill but it works great.

I used to care about my CPU usage. Why is svchost using 13% all the time? Why is TiWorker using 25%? Why is Taskmgr using 0% one second and 3% the next? What about all those Chrome tabs? Modern computers are such resource hogs!!

This is one amazing cpu, using it for rendering with V-Ray and Corona, it is a beast.
