> 24 hourI bought the 2011 model. Much like the other reviews, the thing pays for itself relatively quickly. Won some serious cash on free slot play so it really paid for me. I recommend it. Not as hard as you would think to use. You need to show a little courage when using the match play. Do not lose the card in the book!

> 24 hourThe coupons arent as good as they used to be, but theyre still good. If you have a rigid itinerary in Las Vegas, it will be hard to use many coupons. But if you have free time and a rental car you can try some new places with a 2-for-1 buffet or a $10 free bet coupon. The main purpose of buying the book, to this reviewer, is its INFORMATION. It tells you where the buffets are and what they cost, which places charge for parking and how much, and basic but solid information about how to gamble wisely.

> 24 hourEach year we buy 1 American Casino Guide for each person in our party going to Vegas. Before going, cut the coupons for the Free slot play, Match Play and any others that look interesting. One day of our trip is coupon day. We use the GPS we brought on the trip and scoot from casino to casino using the above valuable coupons at the slots/crap table or blackjack table. We go in, get a players card, for a $10 match play coupon, buy $10 in chips, place the coupon and the $10 in chips on the table and if we win we get back our $10 chips plus $20 more. Our last trip in July 2010 we won far more than we lost on these coupons. It was fun visiting a lot of different casinos and seeing a lot of Vegas. These coupons more than pay for the cost of the guide and once you do what Ive described you may also make this a tradition on your trips to Vegas.....Note, the coupons are good once per year per casino; you cant go twice during a 12 month period and use the same coupon at that casino from another American Casino Guide. Besides the coupons, the guide has a lot of info on the various games, casinos, points of interest ect..... Buy it well before your trip and read it. Plan your trip and enjoy.

> 24 hourIf you ever visit Las Vegas, the collection of coupons in this book more than make up for the cost of it. Those new to gambling (especially table games) will also find the book to be a good resource.

> 24 hourI was dissapointed with this book. It tries to cover everything about Casinos and gambling tips and the end result is that it provides very little in depth information about any particular casino. It also touts that it has valuable coupons. Most of the coupons are available free either on the internet or with casino coupon books that are readily available elsewhere. On the plus side there are good descriptions of casino gaming along with viable betting strategies. Overall, I wanted more detailed information on Casino attractions and deals. This book was not a good source of that type of information.

> 24 hourGreat book... lots of very useful coupons in it. There are several hundred for Vegas... many of which are worthless (ie: the bogus Hooters free slot play) but there are several matchplays for strip casinos and the $20 free slot play at the Venetian pays for the book by itself. Also recommend checking out the buy one get one free coupon good at any of the Nathans locations for a delicious, cheap meal! Well worth the purchase price of this book!

> 24 hourThis book is still a good source of infomation on the casinos in the USA but the coupon section has really gotten thin over the last edition and the coupons are not as good. If you buy this book for the coupons every year, you may want to rethink purchasing for this year.

> 24 hourSadly, the value of these coupon books gets worse with every passing year. Ive gotten the American Casino Guide since 2008 every single year. Back then, there were actually valuable coupons that you could use if you went to Las Vegas, and some local coupons for casinos in your area. With each passing year the value of the coupons gets worse and worse. Whereas almost every casino on the strip was represented, now only the cheaper casinos have related coupons and theyre hardly worth using. Youll never find anything for Mandalay Bay, Aria, the Bellagio, Cosmo, Caesars, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore or any more upscale place. I remember getting a random medallion at Caesars before or buy-one-get-one Eiffel Tower Rides (which youd get if you checked into Paris anyway). Now you get nothing. The coupons for Fremont Street still exist but again, arent very good. The local casinos by me no longer have ANY coupons in that book at all. For me, the price of the book far surpasses anything Id save on these awful coupons so 2018 will mark the last year I make this purchase. (If you want a book detailing some information about the casinos and going over gameplay, that information in useful. Then again, its not necessary to buy the book every year. Once time will suffice.)

> 24 hourI purchased 2 of these books for our July trip to Vegas because there were 4 of us. There are many coupons in here. We did not use that many but I still felt it was worth it. The problem is that many of the free play coupons are for new sign ups and I already have player cards at most of the casinos. We did like the coupon for the Rio buffet and if you dont have a Venetian player card that coupon is great. Many of the coupons are for off strip so be aware of that.
