American Casino Guide - 2010 Edition

I bought this for my trip to vegas, I only ended up using one coupon. I would not buy it again because I can do better on myvegas and get better deals. JP

I bought this mainly for the coupons but boy was I impressed, the book gives a good intro to how table games work and a nice rundown on each casino. The accompanying website is a great resource to learn more on house edge and strategy.

This was okay, but some of the discounts we used from the last book were either missing or so much less that the book might not be worth it. The buy one get one free buffet at the Rio is now just 5 dollars off, that was the killer for me.

This book is a very valuable resource for gamblers and would be gamblers. It has very informative articles that will make anyones gambling experience easier, more enjoyable and less expensive, if not profitable. Using the coupons in the book will cover the cost of the book over and over.

This book contains lots of valuable information about casinos throughout the country. More than that it contains enough great coupons to pay for itself . We really enjoy using the 2 for 1 buffet coupons, we buy at least one book every year.

I always buy this guide for the coupons. This book is valuable for locals more so than visitors to the strip.

I was a little reluctant to purchase this, however, ran into a couple who had it with them last time I was in Vegas. They say they purchase one each time they go there and it really pays off. I will be using mine the end of March, 2009 when I return there and I cant believe all the FREE and Buy 1/Get 1 coupons I will be using. Great deal!!! I also will purchase each time I go!

I have been using the American Casino Guide for years and have saved megabucks. There are many buy one get one free restaurants throughout the country at various casinos as well as the majority of coupons for Las Vegas. Having used this book every year, I can tell you the best of the best in places that you would never think of going. It is very helpful and imperative that you have a car to use the book. It could get very costly if you had to take public transportation or taxis. We have found that one of the best buffets in Las Vegas is the Saturday or Sunday Brunch at the Silverton where you have a buy one get one coupon. In two words, buy it!!

A new edition of this book comes out every year. The main reason to purchase it more than once is the coupons included. Several years ago these included good deals on rooms, etc. This year, 2010, I found most of the coupons had no value. Many were 2 for 1 deals, that could not be used as a single traveler. Others might get you to a restaurant, but you could get better prices elsewhere. The book remains useful if you are planning a trip to a new destination.

If you go to Vegas get this book, it will save you lots of money. I have bought two editions. The first time was the best because many of the free points on slots ARE FOR FIRST TIME USERS.
