This pen looks like it has broke on me already. I dont want to wait 10 min to see if that fixes it. Right now after 2 min in 7.0 solution, Im showing a reading of 11.2!@# I put in 4.0 solution for a cpl min, and Im getting a 1.1 reading...wtf!~@! Complete waist of money this pen was. Stick with bluelabs pen!

Piece of garbage will not calibrate. With the 7 solution I can not even turn the dial enough to get it past 6. Waste of money

I have used Pinpoint PH monitor for 15 years from saltwater aquarium to freshwater aquariums. The probes have always been easy to calibrate and last. However the probes from this company are temperamental and the bulb on the end always seem to break. After owning 2 of these now in ~18 months my opinion is they are of poor quality. And the package is poor, makes me think they are used. I would rather spend the extra money and get my probes direct from American Marine

The replacement pH probe that I purchased does work and did callibrate properly. However, I did have a couple concerns... Firstly, this vendor appears to be (perhaps) selling this probe outside of its OEM packaging, judging from the fact this delicate probe was simply sitting loose in a largish, white box with no packing, paperwork, or documention inside and very little in the way of stickers or documentation on the outside of the box. The way this probe was packaged, I am surprised it survived shipment undamaged... a little packing material inside the inner box (product, not the shipping box) would have gone a long way. Secondly, this is a very limited shelf-life product according to the manufacturers manual. However, nowhere on the probe I received, its box, or the limited documentation that came with the probe, is a manufacture date included, and the one I was sent had signs that it may have been sitting in a warehouse for quite some time. Most notably all the storage solution that protects and preserves the delicate bulb on the bottom of the probe had evaporated and/or leaked out of the cap, leaving nothing but a caked-on salty residue on the bulb. Since none of the residue was in the box that the probe was packaged in, perhaps it had just evaporated out slowly, or it may explain why the probe appeared to be repackaged When I purchase a replacement probe again, it will likely not be from this vendor. The product itself is sound and of good quality.

Been working great for the last two months on a Reef Angel +. Upon arrival, there was some seepage but it calibrated quickly and has been going strong since. Wouldnt hesitate to order another.

Doesnt work! Probe arrived in a make shift box, looked used, and was dried out with a piece of paper towel in the probe cover! Save your money and buy somewhere else!

I bought this to use with a raspberry pi grove pi from Seeed Studio for a controller I am building. This works great with the Seeed Studio pH sensor kit. It gives accurate readings with it. I cant speak on how long it stays in calibration and to the level it stays calibrated. But so far it works great. The main thing is it will work with the raspberry pi board.
