American Marine PINPOINT pH Probe

I have the monitor and the guardian monitor, both needed new probes, these were super cost effective, came packaged safely, plug n play, calibrated in a snap, and has held calibration as well as the OEM part did. (maybe better, as it was replaced, am i right?)

I have used many probes this one came broken Pinpoint are as a rule a good probe mine was encrusted about 1 above the rubber tip cover had to soak probe to remove rubber cover. Then it did not work well in Cal. solution then after looking it over well I noticed the sensor bulb was broken full refund and got a Neptune and I prefer them and Milwaukee myself But they all can be broken

This replacement probe adds new life to my American Marine PH meter. Calibration with this probe is easy and quick. It is working well for my planted tank.

The probe is American Marine, the listing was not very clear. After calibration it has worked perfectly with my Milwaukee monitor. It did arrive loose in a small box but was packaged safely. The plastic end cap protecting the delicate bulb was intact and full of storage solution plus a bit of cotton to hold moisture. Shipping was fast.

Using to monitor pH in my CO2 injected planted aquarium. Easy to check at a glance that I have optimal CO2 levels that arent approaching dangerous levels for my fish.

I got it a few days ago. calibrated it. Works like a charm with apex. Seems accurate and I think better than the finicky apex one. (mine might have been defective) For $35, go for it ! I got another one about a year later. Came not calibrated , after calibration readings are totally wrong. Poor quality control. Disappointing for a brand I trusted.

The probes dont maintain their accuracy forever and are expected to need to be replaced eventually. The new probe restored accuracy

This works great with the Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper Elite. All I did was calibrate it using pinpoint 7 and 10 pH fluid and it works perfect.

My 2nd one. First one cracked after a short period of time. I was disappointed as I dont recall doing anything that may have caused it but it was just in the bottom of the sump. I now have a probe holder holding the second one and no issues to date. It did need to be calibrated out of the box when used with my Apex aquarium controller.
