> 3 dayThese work until they don’t. They need to be calibrated every 3 months or so and replaced every year. I recommend if you have the space in your tank or sump running 2 (the Neptune Apex has 2 Ph ports). Why not? Nothing worse than seeing parameters drift with no explanation. You’ll know when they stop working because suddenly your PH will become erratic or drift. They’re no better or worse than the Neptune “brand” version. I recommend getting some Ph solution to make sure they arrive calibrated correctly. I have ordered 2 and both have been good out of the box but you never know.

> 3 dayI have used Pinpoint PH monitor for 15 years from saltwater aquarium to freshwater aquariums. The probes have always been easy to calibrate and last. However the probes from this company are temperamental and the bulb on the end always seem to break. After owning 2 of these now in ~18 months my opinion is they are of poor quality. And the package is poor, makes me think they are used. I would rather spend the extra money and get my probes direct from American Marine
