Americolor 4.5 Oz Chocolate Brown Soft Gel Paste

i love americolor gels!

A little pricey, but works well. A little goes a long way. Used it to make light brown buttercream two or three shades darker. Result is a dramatically deeper appearance. No aftertaste.

I love how vibrant the colors are and you do not have to use an excessive amount of product.

Always works perfectly in my icings.

Once I puncture the seal I have no way of ever closing this up or safely storing it with no cap. That is how the product arrived, no cap. Frustrating.

I bought the brown dye to mix with the candles I make from home. Unfortunately, this soft gel dye does not mix well with wax and instead, sank to the bottom of the hot wax mixture and sat there like a turd. Didnt mix at all. I had to throw in my older liquid dyes to cover any brown flakes. So because of this brown dye not doing its job properly, I have wasted a bunch of materials setting up that batch of candles. Buying this product made me lose even more money out of pocket.

The color was true to form and mixed well for painting on a cake.

Produces rich deep colors without excessive amounts, which makes this product most cost effective!

Love ALL Americolor food colors! And the gel is so much easier to work with, as well as the pop-top drip dispenser. No more stained digits!
