My husband and I installed the wires and attached two 48 bulb light strings in about three hours. I did do some planning/layout work in advance. In general the kit is impressive and flexible and saves what is likely several trips to the hardware store. We only augmented the kit with a couple of items for our particular implementation - we wanted a thicker cable with a thicker plastic coating for the part that went around the tree to protect the bark more, supported by a couple larger hooks screws into the tree. Also, while we used the enclosed twist ties to attach each of the lights, I dont know if they will last - they are pretty light duty. We augmented with zip ties and added tape to the cable at the ends/turns to prevent sliding. As mentioned in some other reviews, we struggled getting the clamps on the wires because the holes were too small. Smart hubby used a 7/64ths regular drill bit on the holes and everything was easy after that... Probably a minor risk that the holes are no longer smooth and could cut into the vinyl coating after a while, but since they are clamped down now with the screws think it will be fine. The vinyl coated write cable and other accessories seem to be good quality.

I used the wire kit to hang the outdoor patio lights and it couldnt have gone any smoother! All parts were included (and then some!) to do the job quickly and easily. Nice kit!

As others have stated, the wire is too large to lace through the locking device. I ended up purchasing different clamps at Home Depot and zip-typing my string lights to them, works like a charm. I wish I would have saved myself the $38 and done this originally.

My wife wanted bistro lights in our yard. This kit has everything you need to install wire to hang lights on. The wire is coated with plastic, there are ample connectors, turnbuckles, carabiners, and instructions to make installation a breeze. Highly recommended if you’re lighting up your yard!

Product is exactly what I needed to hang lights around my backyard with the anchors to trees. Makes the backyard glow now. Just make sure you have some wire cutters to cut cable to length.

Worked great for our outdoor string lights. The black ties didn’t work so well so we didn’t use them.

The kit is really well priced for stainless hardware. The long cables can be used for several different installations. I used this to put shade cloth over my back yard and it really does the trick. The hardware is a bit smaller than I expected but its adequate for the application. I avoided using the screws included as they didnt seem big enough to hold the tension. The cable clamps look tiny but work surprisingly well.

I wish I had one more carabiner, but, I was able to make it work fine without it. It was easily enough to support three strings of hanging lights. It looks well, and Im reasonably confident that i wont have any lights falling any time soon!
