When I first opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised at how thick and high quality the cables looked and felt. However, I have been using one of the cables for 5 days, and already, it has given up the ghost. This cable lived a short, uneventful life by my bedside, and was never bent, knotted, tangled, or yanked, so there is no clear reason why it no longer functions. Heres to hoping the second cable lasts a little longer. RIP
