The unit was purchased to transfer data between devices. I am highly satisfied with this adapter. It is well worth the cost.

Works perfectly unlike some off-brands I have previously tried. And I like having a few of these small adapters rather than full cables. Using to plug in my scanner, charge headphones and use a card reader with my Mac Studiio so I can use the Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports on the front instead of trying to access the legacy USB ports on the back.

Don’t know about durability but it’s just as described.

Who among us doesnt have several USB-A devices /drives that we need to connect to a USB-C port on our new computer? So how can you connect it to your computer? Anker has the solution with their USB-A to USB-C adapter. Plug your USB-A device/drive in the adapter, plug the adapter into the USB-C port on your computer, and Bobs your uncle! Works great, sells as a pair (so you can connect more than one device at a time, which is really handy), the price is good, and Anker is a solid company. Whats not to like? I sure like and use mine, and I think you will too. Highly recommend this adapter. 5 Stars.

Does not work to transfer video signal from Webcam to laptop. Very few items do. Beware.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Small enough to fit two next to each other on Thinkpad nano.
