> 3 dayI love this stuff! It give just the right amount of heft to your projects. I have made dozens of fabric box gifts with this - and it needles well, by machine or by hand. It is easily cut with a rotary cutter, it holds its shape beautifully and I do not see ever being without it in my sewing room. The weight is just great for purses and tote bags as well - the name says it all!

> 3 dayI cant say enough great things about Soft and Stable. My sister and I both made the same bag. She made hers with batting and I made mine with Soft and Stable. The Soft and Stable made my bag stand up perfectly and gave it just the right look while being comfortable to use and carry. My sisters bag sags. I will never use batting in a bag again!

20-04-2025This feels & acts just like automotive headliner (ceiling fabric.) Except that on sale, the headliner costs less than half as much in our local store. I am trying some of each in 2 bags that will get the same amount of use. If they perform similarly, I certainly wont buy this again.

Greater than one weekIm making a large travel satchel for my artist granddaughter -- it has to be sturdy with lots of pockets inside and out, able to carry her paints, sketchbooks, brushes, water container, cash, passport, tickets, personal care items, and a change of clothes. Tried Peltex but it was stiff and awkward. This is perfect, gives body, remains flexible, is astonishingly easy to sew, and is machine wash, tumble dry. Couldnt ask for more

> 3 dayExactly what I was expecting. I use it to make travel bags, and buying it in a larger quantity makes it more reasonable.

> 3 dayI worked with this stabilizer/batting for a couple of projects (different sized bags). It was very easy to cut the pieces to size, either with scissors or rotary cutters. Sewing was no problem either, though this product isn’t fusible. I used little strips of fusible webbing to adhere it to the fabric, but it has a soft texture that helps it stay put without lots of adhesive. I would definitely recommend it for projects that need a bit more structure. Even though this stabilizer helped the bags be more rigid, it also has enough give so that the bags can be filled up without issues. It looks smooth under the fabric and is easily quilted through.
