I used Soft and Stable to make a custom cover for my sewing machine. I received the product I ordered in a timely manner, it was well packaged, fresh and clean. It did the job and was perfect for the project; however, I dont look forward to sewing with it again any time soon! I found it to be messy to work with and I had to clean my machine MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more often than if Id been working with regular quilt batting. Id buy it again (in another few years, LOL) if another project called for it.

This is such a good product ........ I use it a lot for purse and tote making. Personally I feel it surpasses all other stiffening products out there for this particular application.

This is a great product for fabric containers and totes because it offers body without rigidity. I does stretch more on one grain than the other so take that into consideration when cutting. Quilt through it with a walking foot for best stitch consistency.

Bought this to line new seat covers Im making for a friends truck. Light-weight and durable, even works to embroider through it (used tearaway behind it, though Im not sure that was necessary.)
