Anti-theft Classic Essential Messenger Bag, Nutmeg

I LOVE THIS BAG! This is the best bag I have ever bought. Ive had lots of handbags over the years (all kinds including coach) and NONE of them have met all of the criteria I had like this one does. Its small enough that it doesnt overwhelm my small frame (also keeps me from carrying around too much stuff). But its big enough to carry all of the things that I want to have with me when I leave the house. It has a slim profile that rests neatly at my side without sticking out like some bags do. The construction is sturdy. There are plenty of pockets to keep my items organized. I bought a zippered purse organizer separately which houses all the things I want in the main pouch so that they arent jumbled all together which makes it easy to find what Im looking for without digging around. The strap is the perfect length (adjusted to its shortest length) to wear on one shoulder. It can be worn as a cross body as well which is comfortable (Ive had cross body bags before that werent comfortable). The strap is also flat and sturdy and doesnt slip off of my shoulder like many others have (I have narrow shoulders). The color is beautiful. Its a vibrant purple which I love. I wasnt sure about the color when I ordered it, but I love the color in person. The material of the bag wasnt quite what I expected. I was expecting something with a softer feel and glossier look. This is more stiff, but its not problematic. It appears to be very sturdy which should wear well. I will definitely buy this bag again (if it ever wears out --by the look and feel of it, that should be a while).

Can’t fit much in it. Very narrow opening purse. Would be good for thin billfold, passport, lipstick and a pen and paper.

Took this to Europe. Perfect! Love all the safety features of this bag and that I could wear it cross-body style. Not huge (no water bottle carrying) but perfect for me.

Bought this for my trip to Europe! Worked great! Light weight, great size and loved the safety features!!

Bought for trip to France (two weeks). Worked beautifully. Narrower than we expected but also easier to keep zipper closed so it all evened out. We bought the purple which is nice and subtle and does NOT look like a travel purse. Sturdy bad with good amount of pockets.

I was expecting a more dark gray colored bag per the picture.

I bought this for a trip to Ireland in May and was very pleased. The safety features made me feel safer but were not hindering to use. I love a crossbody bag, and this one adjusted easily to fit me. It was a bit larger than I expected, but not too big. The outer material has held up great, with no signs of wear. It has plenty of compartments to stash my stuff. I would highly recommend purchasing this purse.

My ONLY small complaint is that it is bigger than I thought it would be. It is a very large purse so things will get lost easily in it. I may purchase a second one, a bit smaller for quick errands.
