> 3 dayThis product worked perfectly on my handmade rug. I attached it with hot glue and carpet glue. I also used a ribbon border around the outside to tuck and hide the edge. This final backing cloth was nice and flexible as well as non-slip.

> 3 dayI bought this for tufting projects but realize there is many more uses for this cloth. This is a nice thick material with that has a non slip on one side. It would be great for anything you don’t want sliding around. Chair cushions or under a futon mattress that slides would great uses for it.

Greater than one weekHave large roll of thick faux fur to upholster stool and chairs for childs room. Also needed rug backing to make matching rug. This backing is slip resistant and will be safe when everything inevitable gets carried and moved all around. I do wish it were waterproof. But if you need to match upholstery and a rug, this backing will do the trick just fine.

> 3 dayHello Amazon shoppers! I bought this Non slip pad for my area rugs and I am very disappointed to say that it does not work. I sewed a piece to the back of my kitchen rug and it continues to move every time someone step on to the rug. The non-slip pieces are not sturdy enough to hold the rug in place. I had to remove it from both of my rugs and replace it with another non slip cover that I purchased elsewhere. I would not recommend buying this item if you want to keep a rug in place. It will not work for your area rugs. The price was not worth the item.

> 3 dayMaking replacement reusable cup sleeve for the one I lost (sad day that). This fabric used as the interior for the felt outer layer is perfect for preventing the sleeve from slipping down. It also adds a nice additional layer of protection against hot hot drinks (bye bye cooked finger tips) and ice cold beverages that freeze the fingers.

> 3 dayIve only just started with rug tufting, and I am definitely not that good, but I am glad that I have the right material. This feels really grippy and stands up to walking on the rugs that Ive made so far. Not like it will stand up to dragging things, but it takes a deliberate action to move the rug from the spot you put it in. I like the size you get, giving you plenty of material for multiple rugs. I definitely recommend as a backing for diy rug tufters, and Ill be grabbing more as I get into this hobby!

> 3 dayI bought this to use for MahJong. Doesn’t slide, baffles noise of tiles. White is fine but I’m thinking of dying as a contrast to tiles. Got two mats from this. Will use selvage for dining chair cushions.

06-06-2025Im new to tufting, so admittedly this is the first backing cloth that Ive used thus far, so I cant directly compare it to other backing cloth. I do like that this backing fabric has a lot of the plastic dots that give it a grip, and the little flower design is a nice flair. This grips to our tile floor well so far. The fabric itself is like a thick, stiff felt fabric. I liked this option over using regular felt as backing because of our tile floor being a bit slippery, and we have 3 rambunctious cats lol. One in particular is a very clumsy baby and would definitely slip. This is a fair amount of fabric for the price, comparatively. Id say this would fit a medium sized area rug well, or at least a couple of smaller rugs. Im pleased thus far overall!
