Rug tufting is a neat way to make smaller, unique rugs for yourself, for friends or to sell, but the thing is, you have to finish them professionally. The rubber backing to keep the yarn attached to the tufting cloth and then this backing cloth to complete the rug. It looks good and provides a non-slip/skid surface so the rug can be used on wood floors. Easy enough to use and adhere to the rug, I will definitely purchase this cloth again.

Have large roll of thick faux fur to upholster stool and chairs for childs room. Also needed rug backing to make matching rug. This backing is slip resistant and will be safe when everything inevitable gets carried and moved all around. I do wish it were waterproof. But if you need to match upholstery and a rug, this backing will do the trick just fine.

This backing material is soft and yet durable to use as the bottom layer of your tufted rugs. It gives your projects the finishing touch that looks professional and perfect. The material has some grip to keep your rug from sliding around on the floor and the added thickness gives the rug a more plush feel. I used spray adhesive to glue it onto the back of my project and whip stitched the edges with yarn. It seems to be holding up well so far. I would not bother using this on the back of projects meant for wall hangings, but for a floor rug, this works great.

I got this as Ive been wanting to get into rug tufting and wanted to add this to the bottoms of the rugs I made. Im very happy with it! It is good for rugs that I already have at home too to prevent them from slipping around so much. Happy!

This fabric is decent. Its a compressed felted material. Well have to see how it holds up to adhesives though and if it starts to pull apart. The non-slip works well. I placed a portion of the fabric down and without applying too much pressure tried to shift the fabric along a tile floor. It shifted a little but nothing significant.

Love it for backings on projects

Hello Amazon shoppers! I bought this Non slip pad for my area rugs and I am very disappointed to say that it does not work. I sewed a piece to the back of my kitchen rug and it continues to move every time someone step on to the rug. The non-slip pieces are not sturdy enough to hold the rug in place. I had to remove it from both of my rugs and replace it with another non slip cover that I purchased elsewhere. I would not recommend buying this item if you want to keep a rug in place. It will not work for your area rugs. The price was not worth the item.

This fabric works well for replacing the feet in my grandkids footed pajamas, the bottoms of the chair cushions to keep them from slipping, adding to the bottom of knitted slipper. This is a multipurpose fabric. More ideas of use are churning in my mind.

I am delighted with this, it is perfect backing forthe rugs I make. I love the pattern and quality of this backing. Gives the product a great finishing touch!

This backing cloth, although I haven’t used it yet, seems perfect. I just got into making rugs so hopefully this’ll work for them.
