I have an APC 6-outlet surge protector that I purchased at Best Buy several years ago for around $80. Could not believe the reduction in price for a smaller unit capable of more plugs. This is a great unit at a great price.

DANGER! The USB ports started smoking and almost set my house on fire! I had to throw it outside. It left a horrible smell throughout my entire house that lasted for over a week!

Was told needed new surge protector by Direct TV, Did not solve the problem I was having. Glad I picked your protector well made and has more features the others. Did not need a new one but I have yours, kept instead of returning.
