Apple Magic Keyboard: iPad Keyboard case for iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Generation) and iPad Air (4th, 5th Generation), Great Typing Experience, Built-in trackpad, US English - White

So far I’m loving it. The keyboard is great for typing on, it feels smooth and responsive with no issues. I’ve put 5 stars for the battery life because as you can imagine I’ve been using it non stop since I’ve I had it and 3 hours later my iPad battery is 90%. Plus, I bought a USB C dongle to transfer data and so that might have drained the battery but didn’t. The trackpad is great. Once you learn how to use the gestures everything is simple and there is no reason to touch the screen. Opening the case does require 2 hands but most people have 2 so unless you only have 1 then stop moaning. The backlit keys work well and there must be a sensor because its never too bright and goes off when a film is being watched. The magnetic back is strong but the iPad can be removed easily if you need to and attaches really well. Lastly, the hinge!!! I thought the lack of tilt would be an issue but it really isn’t and it has a power through port to charge the iPad while you use it. This is by far the best and only keyboard case you will need. I did consider the Brydge Pro+ for £200 but believe me you’d happily pay the extra £100 for this case. The only issue I’ve heard from other reviewers is the lack of shortcut keys but its easier to control the volume etc on the iPad itself than pressing multiple buttons.

I have never used my iPad so much and my MacBook Air so little. Yep, there are things that I only want to do on the Mac, but this keyboard case turns my iPad into the little laptop I have always coveted

Angenehm schweres Gewicht der Tastatur. Meines Erachtens auch notwendig, da hierdurch das iPad im geöffneten Zustand auch im Zug noch einen sicheren Stand hat ohne zu wackeln oder umzufallen droht.

Works great and easy to use when I need it. It’s a little expensive even though the price just dropped to $200

This keyboard is very solidly made. Excellent quality. Love the backlit keys and feel of typing. I’m actually using it to write this review! Another fine purchase. I’m not exactly an Apple zombie, but their products are winning my heart. Very pleased with my purchase!

The keypad is nice, the trackpad very small, and the way the iPad sits on the magnet is cool. BUT, it seemed too fragile, the black cover too easily smudged, too easily knocked off the magnet (I keep my pad on the kitchen island), and not portable with any assurance that if dropped, it would survive. I opted for the Logitech combo touch - BIG track pad, nice keys, secure case when closed, and a pretty cover that resists staining.

This is by far the best accessory Apple has created.

I use this for class primarily and not have to have my laptop. I usually take lots of written notes, so this is great but the dual functionality is not there for me
