AquaClear 20 Activated Carbon Inserts, Aquarium Filter Replacement Media, 3-Pack, A1380

i NEEDED THEM TO CLEAR MY WATER.

Ordered for my mother whom wants it easy when replacing her carbon. Aquaclear has been around for ages, so using their pumps + inserts is generally a no brainer. I dont personally order these (or any of the larger size) as I make my own as I have too many tanks and its generally cheaper if/when I need carbon.

I literally just put this in my tank underneath my submergible filter(Aqueon Quietflow 30 gallon) intake and my water was so crystal clear. Only issue I had was when I removed it, it stirred up some debris, but I guess thats a given.

I must say i am extremely disatisfied with this product. I have endured the lost of about 15 fish within a period of 3 months due to this product and filter. I tried everything not believing The filter or its products had anything to do with all my fish dying. so I started checking every possible problem including cleaning my tank, throwing away food i thought might have gone bad. I tried everything. Bought countless of medicine at the local Petsmart etc. and my fish kept dying. When i zeroed in on everything i went a little pet shop by my apartment and they told me to check the filter. and i removed it completely but found nothing visibly wrong. But nonetheless i removed it completely from my tank and dug up for my old power filter that came with my tank. and since then its been like 2 months and no other fish has died. and i went back to the old food i was feeding my fish and my two remaining fish are just fine. This filter has cost me so much more what i actually paid for it and its inserts so i give it ZERO STARS. Zilch... so upset. argh... i love my fish so much.
