Its cheaper carbon. It works as good as it can. I personally moved away from carbon because you cant tell when it stops working. I now use purigen ad my fish are WAY happier.

I had to replace an older filter that stopped working, the activated carbon put in the new pump/filter helps keep my fish tank stay cleaner longer now.

Nice. Using it with AZOO Mignion Filter 60, but i had to take some carbon out of the bag to fit it in the filter.
