Unlike the other filters I use, these need to be handled with kid cloves. Cannot clean them with a garden hose, the layers will separate. They do a great job filtering green algae.

You just cant buy that many filter cartridges to equal the same amount of filters for the money. Even though you can rinse and reuse this filter material. I find the quality degrades rather quickly. So its best to discard old filter and replace with new. Even this way it does not effect the value in the long-run. Another great thing about this filter material is just how versatile it is. Simply cut to the size you need. However I will say you are going to need rather heavy duty fabric scissors that are sharp. Or a utility knife will work.

this product is definetly worth its weight in gold and it helped filter out small floating debris from my aquarium.

this is a reorder. I purchased this about 6 months ago to see if it would keep my aquarium water clear and it worked. I use this above the Seachem stone filter, using it in this manner has kept the water clear. I rinse and reuse this once between water changes. I am amazed at how much debris this filter trapped.

I have been using this media for months. I have multiple canister filters on Cichlid, rainbow, goldfish and guppy tanks. My fish seem healthier since using it. I like it because it’s easy to rinse and you can reuse it multiple times without throwing it away! It’s easy to cut and fit into any filter shape. One roll was more than enough for all my filters, with some leftover. It filters really well, too. I would highly recommend this product.

I cut out sizes for my caddy in my Nuvo 60 gal. Got around 8 or 10 out of one sheet. Absorbs very well catching the bigger particles on the more open rougher side than straining through the finer side of the pad. What is nice is that you can easily wash the pad and reuse. Washes out easily under a kitchen faucet. I try to change out pads daily. I am set for a long time with this purchase.

I finally did it.... After experimenting with different kinds of media, I thought I was doing something wrong. Watched a million YouTube videos on how to and finally bought this filter pad as a last ditch effort. My water is crystal clear and my fish are very happy. There is a ton of filter and it will last a while I am sure. This will save me lots of money. Ive learned to clean it in the discarded aquarium water and am sure these will last a while. This was a wise and money saving purchase. I could not be more pleased!
