For a power filter these seem to be working pretty well. I recently switched to a cannister filter which works much better, but for a power filter I would get these as the price is double at the local pet store

These are great filters at a much better price than local stores

We have had gold fish for over three years and they were huge and doing great. Our pump was old so we bought this one to replace it before it crashed. Within a week all three of our gold fish were dead. This is the ONLY thing we changed in the aquarium and followed as they were written. My wife is very upset!

Exactly what was needed

Good filter I like the 12 pack it keeps it simple for changes. The filter packs up quickly but we dont use an algaecide and my daughter tends to over feed...
