Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges Medium - 6 pack

I have the Mini-Bow 1 tank with light and filter for my daughters Beta fish. I purchased this to avoid having to do water changes every week or more. These filters work well -- they pull alot of the junk out of the water and reduce the tank cleaning/water changing burden to about 1x month depending on how much food gets thrown in. The 6 pack on Amazon is way more economical than big box pet stores. I pulled back 1 star because when these filters get loaded up towards the end of their life, they will back up and overflow water out of the filter unit and outside the tank until the water level in the tank drops a bit -- that made quite a mess the first time we encountered it. Only a small design flaw -- otherwise these are great.

These filters do the job. I have a 3.5 gallon tank and the tank has been pretty clean thanks to this filter and other water solutions

Easy to change and install. These filters last a month in my 50 gallon fish tank. I have 2 goldfish and a sucker fish (dont know the name) and the tanks stays clean in between cleanings.

Great for freshwater aquariums. Keeps the water crystal clear. Would not use in a saltwater tank with corals as it doesnt work as well as a skimmer.
