So when my graphics card started running hot I thought it would be worth applying some fresh thermal paste. I followed a guide on youtube to disassemble the card and found that the original thermal paste was a complete mess, only covering a third of the chip.

> 3 dayafter an hour burn in time temps dropped from tm30 @ 103f 39.4c to 98f 36.6c cinebench 7 pass run hit 140f = thermal throttle. still undecided. cinebench scores were very high averages before thermal throttle.
