> 3 dayCant beat the classic. I used Arctic Silver as a teen building rigs in the 90s, and I still use it today. I hover around 33C in game with a z170 mobo, I5-6600k cpu, and a geforce gtx 970 vid card. Forget the goop they send along with your CPU cooler... get the REAL DEAL! Isnt your 1000$ rig worth spending another 8$ on to ensure it runs super cool?? Theres a reason this stuff still exists 25 years later.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite thermal paste. Any time Im installing a cooler, I use this. Ive even used it to re-seat GPU coolers after taking them off to clean out dust and such. I dont know that its scientifically any better than any other, but Ive been using AS5 for 10+ years, so its proven to be reliable.

> 3 dayIt is 99.9% per silver which is one of the best heat transfer compounds on the market. When I buy a CPU that is preloaded from the factory, I clean it off and apply Arctic Silver. Its cheap insurance. That little tube has enough product to prep at least 10 CPUs.And its inexpensive too!

Greater than one week....pasting my CPU to my cooler. Under heavy load my CPU shows 31 C. Not too shabby! Plus, I have more paste in the syringe for at least four more projects.
