If your trying to put behind crown molding for accent lighting beware it is not very bright at all

The plastic it’s in is thin compared to the 6’ ropes. Not as bright as the shorter ones

The back door area is very dark. We wanted to lighten it up without attracting bugs, reason for the blue color and also promotes police respect. Previous blue rope lights latest about 30 days. These have a clear coating instead of a blue coating with white lights. At first, I was not pleased, now very happy. Give them time if you are used to the blue rope and white lights inside. As far as longevity, its been less than 30 days so far, but all is well.

The blue is perfect, imitating water. We used two packages.

I like the idea of battery power without connection to any sort of hardwiring; however, the end battery pack is tricky to secure. I am using it along gunnels of my boat
